Hi All,
I have a couple of deadlines approaching, and I was wondering if there is anyone on this forum who has received the Human Rights Fellowship at CLS? Could you please let me know when Columbia releases its financial aid results?
I have asked for an expedited financial aid review but have not received any response yet. I am guessing there are many who are in a similar situation, if not CLS then with other illustrious institutions.
Hoping to receive some insight on this. Thanks a lot.

I asked for expedited review last Friday and got the admission yesterday...
Seems it really doesn’t work against you!

Has anyone requested an expedited review on financial aid decisions? If so, was the request successful? I have an offer from NYU with a merit-based scholarship, which is set to expire on April 2, 2018. I would like to know where I stand with Columbia in order to make a decision.

Did they flat out refuse giving aid or did they not respond. I am still waiting to hear from them :(

Just a +1 on the 'expedited review requests don't work against you' comments. I asked for expedited review last Tuesday, was accepted on Friday. Good luck to all still waiting!

Applied early January and still waiting for news. Gosh this is killing me.
Anyone off to Berkeley like me for now?

I asked Columbia for an expedited review of my application (not financial aid) as I had deadlines with other Unis and they said they’d let me know as soon as they make a decision. Given it’s now the of March, do I give up hope and commit to my second best option? Or will there be a wait list soon? Anybody else in the same position? This waiting game is killing me.

Hi all! I got my financial aid decision this afternoon. Got a 30k tuition waiver but will decline it for Harvard. Good luck to all

Does anyone know if fin aid is offered to people after 1 April who previously weren’t offered any fin aid (ie due to other candidates declining their places)? I know that happens at NYU but I’m hoping against hope I might get offered something from Columbia!
