Hi siddhartas, I received my admission e-mail yesterday. My CLS status tracker was also updated to reflect that the decision had been emailed, but without specifying admission / waitlist / rejection.

hi guys, has anyone that's been admitted received an email from Columbia regarding financial aid? I know some people received financial aid decisions in their emails of admission, but that in most cases financial aid decisions would be sent later.

thanks!

A friend of mine just got admitted, but in their case it was specifically stated in the email that no financial aid would be provided.

Hi! I am from Buenos Aires, Argentina and I have applied to Columbia Law School through LSAC. Since december 27th, my application status did not have any change. Is that normal?

Thanks and good luck to everyone!

Hola Estefanía! Yep, it's totally normal if you applied in the regular cycle. Columbia is still reviewing applications and sending out decisions. It's just a matter of patience! Suerte!

From India. Got an offer on 27th, no financial aid. Looks like they are only offering financial aid to students who have shown human rights/public interest as their future career options.

Hi, from India too. Got an offer on 26 Feb. Congratulations to those who have received offers, and good luck to all.

@confidential. Have you heard of anyone getting FA yet? I am asking because there was no mention of FA in my offer email, except that they will release decisions soon. But from the previous threads in the past years, it appears that they take a while to release decisions. Many thanks.

Hey does anyone know when the deadline to accept/decline admission offers is? Looked through the email notifying me of their decision to admit me and can't seem to find any information on it. Help, please!

Hey. They mentioned that they would not be offering financial aid.
I did some follow up. And they indicated that this year the financial aid decisions are based on candidates pursuing human rights as that's a less rewarding field financially.

If they haven't mentioned about financial aid in your offer letter, they may be considering you for it. All the best!

My email says 2 April for acceptance and first deposit. You can also check your application status tracker. Right below Application Fee, a date for first deposit is mentioned.
