Hey folks,

I haven't yet heard back concerning my application . and yet its already March . It does seem like everyone on this platform has recieved their decisions.

Hey don't worry, I haven't heard back as well. Heard back from all the other schools I applied except for Columbia NYU Cornell and UCLA.

I applied on November and still haven't heard. However, I wrote to Admissions and told me that it is totally normal (despite of the credentials of the applicants), but that they are going fast with the review and decisions.

Thanks.

It just keeps me wondering if the longer the delay the more likely it is a rejection, that's all. Really. So its anxiety.

Thanks Jacosi. This gives some clarity. Will keep one.waiting. Have any rejection decisions been issued yet?

Hey. They mentioned that they would not be offering financial aid.
I did some follow up. And they indicated that this year the financial aid decisions are based on candidates pursuing human rights as that's a less rewarding field financially.

If they haven't mentioned about financial aid in your offer letter, they may be considering you for it. All the best!

Thanks for the update :)

Hey guys, I applied right before the deadline in December to Columbia and NYU and haven't heard back either.

Hey guys - as the deadlines for the other schools I got admitted to are rapidly approaching I was wondering if you think the decisions from Columbia will all be sent out in March. I know they say until late in April, however, I would have to decide wheather I am going to take the offers of UPenn/UCLA until the early days of April....

So from looking at previous years' discussions, I think you can request/apply for an expedited decision on your application. Just make sure to cite your reasons for needing an expedited decision and also attach copies of your admission offers from the other law schools to support your application/request.
However, I would suggest that you give them at least two more weeks to respond to you in their own time, if they don't within that time, then by all means go ahead with the expedited decision request/application.

I am in the same boat unfortunately, but let's not lose hope. They are still sending out offers.

I haven’t received a response yet, but try to think positive :). Did you apply for any other LL.M. Program?

No, for the simple reason that a lot of people have been selected to multiple elite colleges (such as, from what I notice, yourself). Eventually they will have to elect one and reject the others. That's when a new bunch of selections will take place. So no sweat. it's really about the waiting game.

As per my conversation with the admissions office, they are still reviewing applications and sending out offers. They told me that the date of the decision is not related with the strength of the credentials of the applicants.

I had a mini-heart attack! They should be nice enough to hold on to the newsletters until they release decisions
