I decided to send them an email explaining the situation. I attached the offer letters as evidence. I don't want to hurry them, but I need to find out ASAP.

This was Columbia's response:

"Thank you for your message. We will send your file to the Admissions Committee for expedited review. While we cannot guarantee that they will be able to make a decision by your deadline, we will make every effort to have a decision by then. As soon as a decision is made, we will notify you by email."

I would let them know asap.

I asked for expedited review on monday and got my admission today :)

Has anyone been offered financial aid by CLS? If no, does anyone have any idea when CLS typically makes its financial aid offers?

I have still not heard from Columbia with respect to my application. Any idea by when they inform all the candidates? Also, does this mean that there are less chances of acceptance considering lot of candidates have received admission news?

In the same situation, have not heard back yet ans starting to get nervous (from Europe). I dont have to accept NYU until the 16th of April so I have a few more weeks but can hardly think of anything else (and I update my email 100 times a day). Want to ask for an expedited review just to get this over with... Someone else from Europe who still have not heard? Gah!
