Thanks again. I am totally ok so far about the decisions. As I saif being admotted to georgetown and cornell was all I ever wanted when I was starting this thing. So I am still really happy. At first I thought that since Columbia is ranked higher than others I admitted, I thought that it is unlikely for me to be admitted to similar ranked ones as Columbia. But I know that this is not the case and the admissions are random. So, I'll wait for Upenn, Duke and NYU now:))

I doubt that. They said they would announce all decisions by december. Does anyone know what happened last year?

From threads of previous years, it looks like Columbia keeps sending admission decisions until December 28...

Just got an email last night saying I was admitted to Columbia... Never got the call though (kinda sad about it, wanted that cliche moment..)

Scholarship decisions are due come January - that would be the determining factor (I guess for all of us :-))

Got a phone call about two days ago from the Dean. She was super nice and welcoming! - In other words, I'm in. ;)

I still have no answers!! Its agonising to have to wait so long! I submitted my application by oct 21st! Going crazy with the wait. The office is closed from 23 to 27, so they msy give some decisions later

anushree87 - If you applied for early review I think they are bound to inform you of their decision before Christmas break... So I think you should hear something soon (others can correct me here if I'm wrong)

I did apply for early review! I think there are still three working days till they take a break for xmas. So all i can do is wait.
