Rejected. Not disappointed though, I would most likely turn it down anyway as I plan to do with NYU. But still their selection criteria seem to be strange

I received email approx. 10 min after I checked my status. Yes, I requested expedited decision. Columbia was the last one to give the answer, so now I have to make a decision as to where to go...

My online status also says 'application complete'. The date given there is January 31.

Is there anyone who applied before December 17 and has not heard yet?

for those who asked for an expedite decision, did you attach any other letter of acceptance from other schools showing the deadline? does a email suffice?

Well they did ask for the e-mail confirmation of admission so I did attach the email. Yet to get a response though.

I also have the message "complete" since December.
I guess they are waiting for people to turn down offers, and then they will send us decisions.

Well- is it normal to wait all the way until the end of April to recieve a feedback on our application? How about last year? My concern is that, if I get a positive feedback on, let's say April 15, will I also know the info on financial aid or this might come even later (May-ish)?? Cause this is waaay to late for us non-US... :/
