Just to inform you guys, Columbia has requested for my report on December 4th, just 3 days after I have applied online. Do not lose hope (those who are waiting).

Hey! CLS has already requested our reports (at least mine). But haven't received an 'application complete' email as yet!!

I have not received application complete either. Although it's been only few weeks since I applied and they requested LSAC report and I do understand that they are quite busy with the early review. However it does some what annoy me that there is no way to check the process as in if they have even received my LORs. I mean even with Harvard you can check your status....

Just an FYI - Columbia requested my report yesterday so things are moving.

Umm. Doesn't CLS specify LORs directly sent to them? That they prefer it that way?

They suggest that people send them directly. However, I believe that it is inconvenient for most of the people (including me) so I sent the LORs through LSAC. Hope it is still good for them.

Ah. Because I was pretty convinced we didn't have to use LSAC for anything for Columbia. They specified it isn't mandatory and we can send in the package directly, so was a little puzzled :)

Ya u can send everything directly. But you can send it through . LSAC too! And using LSAC is wayyy more convenient.

There is a new link on CLS LLM page, that was not there last week: Graduate Legal Studies Admitted Students Login.
Maybe they will start sending out decisions soon...

Not sure if decisions, I think it will be a status check page for those who applied :-)
where do you see it by the way? could you please send a link?

Nop, this is another page, only for graduate admitted students.
The status check page has been there since the application was available.

It might also be a page for early notification applications. Have you applied in the regular cycle or in early review?

Early review.

Good luck :-) hope you get in really soon.

I mailed all of my information directly to Columbia. The fact that they said they preferred this method was persuasive enough for me to undergo the inconvenience. Good luck!!
