Send them an e-mail. Althought they prefer not to receive e-mails from applicants, they are nice and they reply pretty fast and to the point.

Thanks idodee. Maybe I will wait few days before contacting them just in case if they are checking all the regular cycle applications and sending complete emails on a "rolling basis".

I just received a call from the dean to tell me I am admitted to the CLS LL.M. She said I would receive an e-mail later today confirming. I am from Belgium. Good luck to all of those still waiting!

Hey Kay 14. Many many congratulations on the offer. Just as reference, could you tell us something about your profile which would give a sense of the kind of profile CLS is looking for. Thanks in advance and congratulations once again.

Thank you. :)

I received the confirmation e-mail. Admit packet will follow in January.

I'm a litigator working at a Brussels international law firm for the past two years. Primary law degree evaluated as above average. TOEFL 116. Additional graduate studies ongoing with transcript evaluated as superior.

Hope this helps and good luck!!

Thank you. :)

Wow. Congratulations! I have a little less impressing credentials. Just a law degree evaluated superior, TOEFL 115 and one year of legal internship experience. I hope it will be good enough for Columbia in order to offer me admission :)

That is impressive. Weren't you guys eligible for an exemption from toefl? Also, kat14 I'm sorry but what do you mean by 'additional graduate studies ongoing with transcript' ? What does this refer to.

I am currently completing a Master's in the field of European Studies (interdisciplinary) on a part-time basis (which means 2 years instead of 1), as a working student. Also studied in the US as an exchange student one semester during law school, but that's not enough to be exempt from TOEFL.

Sounds interesting. Re the exemption from toefl, my first law degree was taught entirely in English from india, where English is not the native language and I have been granted an exemption from the toefl.
