Jenny 1980, In the TOEFL I got more than the minimum overall and in all subsections. Anyway, I have friends who had less than 104 and still were accepted last year.

YHC, congratulations to you too. I didn't receive any information regarding the financial aid. I did receive the second e-mail with my user name and password to see the information in the web page, and according to that the decisions are made on rolling basis starting early next year.

My sincere congrats to you. It should be a great relief! If you have a chance, would you mind telling us when you submitted your appl to CLS? I just wanted to see if the decision is made on a "first came, first served" principle. I submitted mine on Oct 29th.

Also, do you think Dean of Admission is calling all admitted candidates or he is doing it selectively?

hey congrats to all those who have herd good news from CLS.......its just the begining of declaration of results but I am getting really tensed..........those admitted kindly tell us wen they posted their applications.......fingers crossed......this wait is really killing..........

LLM 09-10, I submitted my application the second week of October. I cannot assure that they are calling averyone by phone, but I believe they will do that at least with the applicants of the early review process. I got the news a couple of days ago.

Congratulations Twelfthmonkey! hope you have properly celebrated this first achievement. and now what? you just got the call? although I'm not directly involved, I'd like to have a better understanding as I have a couple of friends that send their application to CLS...all of you used the early application process, am I right?

Now that twelfth is in I do believe, but yesterday I hade the same exact impression about the joker...

First of all, I am not at all surprised that it was questioned whether Joker1 is telling the truth. Maybe you should stop questioning all people that have just signed up to this board in order to share that they have been accepted to a certain LL.M. program. Once again, I do not believe that anybody would lie on this topic on an anonymous board. What would someone gain by lying?

Anyways, congratulations, Twelfthmonkey. Has anybody else been accepted yet? I think that some others on this board have also been accepted (at least I have received some questions concerning the procedure of CLS that have left this impression).

Today, I have also received the notification that Georgetown has accepted me via Fedex.

Are you guys all from Europe? If I am not mistaken, I feel like this year CLS started sending out admission offers to European applicants first. I saw somewhere else that few Peruvian applicants also received the offers.

Eeehhhh, this wait is really, really killing me...I am from Asia and if my guessing is right, we should hear something from CLS soon. Btw, did any of you guys tried to log-in the admitted students site on CLS website? Please let me know if that is working for you already.

Hey twelfthmonkey congrats......u mst be really excited......have they said anything abt financial aid........i mean their website say that u dnt hv to accept the offer and make any commitment with CLS till u get all ur results for other law schools....is it so or they are asking you to deposit some token money.....i mean 500US$.......anyways enjoy the success..........

Quick response to some questions:
1.@ LLM_09, for my background, briefly, see in the "acceptances received" thread
2. concerning the phone call: I dont wanna spread false information. Due to obvious excitement I'm not sure if I was told its A new (next to the known email only admission) or THE new procedure (exclusively) - and if it applies to Early Review only etc. etc. (there's the lawyer in me again..). At the end of the day it doesn't matter a lot, you'll hear from then until Dec. 31st anyway, and I sincerely hope that in a positive way!
3. I wish not to talk too much about the financial aspect. As for the 500 USD, its somewhere in the middle. A deposit is required but up until a generous deadline which allows you to wait for most other decision probably.

hey nokina....many congratulations to you......i ahd the same wory as jurismaster has.....i mean are dey calling evyone (admitted candidates) or selectively....because of the time diff. its not possible to call indian applicants at decent timings, i suppose........well where are u from???????...and tell us something abt ur educational accomplishments and work exp., so dat we can speculate our chances......
