Thanks a billion to all of you guys. It is definitely the best surprise of the year and I couldn't ask for more.
@ Applicant 2009 - CONGRATULATIONS!!
@ Brightest - I'm from Thailand and didn't get any phone call from CLS. I think they have started reviewing applications from Asian countries already :) My background is nothing fancy. I got LL.B. and LL.M. from my country and have about 7 years of work experience. My TOEFL is only 100 so I got admission on the condition that I enroll an intensive English program in the U.S. (They don't seem to specify it has to be the program at their university)
If I can get in, you can too! I'll be waiting to hear some good news from you ok? :)
Best of luck to all of you!

hey applicant2009 and nokina thanks for ur kind words.......no good news as of now and today is the last day in this week, they dnt operate on weekends i suppose........feeling little anxious but apart from the work exp., which is only 1 year, my other credentials are not dat bad.....i have hopes....lets see......but i dnt think dey have any pattern of declaring results....i mean twelfthmonkey has applied on the last date (i think) and he (or she) got the result.....so i'm hopeful.........lets see.......but i seriously think that they should declare all the results for one category (e.g. early review) on the same day....at least unnecessary anxiety will not take off ur breathe evytime u open ur mail account........

Hey Brightest,
to enter that link you need to use the login details that the dean of graduate legal studies gives you in the acceptance email.
have you heard from them?

Once again, congratulations to all admitted applicants.
I am yet to receive any news from CLS.

They said they will let us know about financial aid early next year.

thanks for the info brightest
and congrats to applicant 2009 :)
I saw in the other thread that CLS takes very few applicants for the early review program. Do you guys have any info regarding that?
It is my perception that only the applicants with exceptionally excellent credentials get offer thru the early review program otherwise why would they transfer the rest to the regular cycle. It is my logic only that I am relying upon to infer to the above.
Can anyone help me understand chances for applicants to regular cycle. I submitted my application in the late Nov.

Congrats to all who have received good news. I am sorry to repeat a question already made, but I am under the impression that they communicate with admitted applicants from the same regions at one time, so I want to insist... Anyone from south america has received any news yet?
Posted Dec 13, 2008 15:48
It is my impression also. No news from this south american...
Posted Dec 15, 2008 10:53
Well, it's the 15th today. Regular cycle's up for consideration now.. I remember somewhere on the website that said these would be out typically by late January, but I wouldn't be surprised if it dragged on til late February. I'm so nervous it's actually pure misery. Especially knowing that it's totally out of my hands.
Hearing about other people's progress strangely makes it better though, so please keep updating us, those of you out there who got wind of it already.
Oh, and it would greatly help if with the good news, you include:
(a) where you're from;and
(b) how it was conveyed to you.
I trust that would greatly help everyone else too, no?
Good luck everyone :)
