I got accepted to Chicago, and I will most probably reject the offer, mostly since I got a full tuition offer from Columbia and from Michigan. Dean Badger wrote me that it won't be possible for them to offer anything close.

Hi guys. I am Brazilian, RJ. I am currently admitted to Chicago and NYU (Int´l Legal Studies). Still waiting Columbia. As of now, I would go for Chicago (I am more interested in L&E and business transactions than int´l stuff). Still undecided in case I am admitted to Columbia.

Is there any facebook community for Chicago LLMs? It would be interesting if we could know each other before classes.

Further, I noticed that there are other Brazilians admitted. Let´s get in touch? Please send me an email. I may arrange a orkut or a facebook group.

I would like to hear your opinions re. housing. In fact, I have a particular situation: I was admitted to Chicago and my wife-to-be was admitted to Northwestern (Tax). Several people suggested to live close to NW, since south of Chicago is not a good region (except for certain islands of safety). What do you think?

To current students: is there any kind of shuttle service offered by Chicago? I am aware that Yale offers shuttles from anywhere to anywhere at anytime (within New Haven). Does Chicago offer something similar?

Hope to see you all next fall.
