do u guys e-mail them or call them to get the notification wether you're in the waitlist or denied?

I just got the admission email. Any other applicants from Poland reading this board? :-)

I applied to HLS, SLS, CLS, NYU, Chicago and UPenn, all within regular deadlines. The first decision-related correspondence I ever received was from UPenn - about 2 hours ago (February 29th, waitlisted). I started typing a reply... next thing I know, I get an admission email from Chicago.

I figure the admissions offices usually send their replies on Fridays, don't they?

Good luck first of all to anyone who applied and yet has to wait for any favourable decision. Second, to all you smart darlings who got into top notch schools and parade the results around this board, congratulations, but you don't need any more encouragement :-) I do embrace your "immediate withdrawal" rule though, which I believe may shorten the suffering of waitlisted applicants. I think it should be a sort of a gentelman's agreement for all LLM applicants and I will also follow it.

i haven't got the news whatsoever..
it seems that mostly people already receive notification
is it best to wait or to call them?

I have not yet got any e-mail indicating my application result.
It seems to me that the Chicago University sends its notification according to the order of application.

I have to wait more time, believing that there are still room for admitted seats....

For those who are waiting,
The last bunch of decisions is being notified. So you will probably receive news soon this week or the next. I have been admitted in this last notification round which means that there is still hope!
I sent all materials January 14th and received my application complete in mid-February (no wonder why I am receiving late news!)

as for me i haven't received any news from then wether i'm denied accepted or wait-listed, do u know when they're going to notify the rest of the applicants?

I got the admission email on February 22, but I haven't received the courier package yet. Has anyone received the Chicago package???

No. Still waiting for it to come. I think they said it will be sent out in mid march.

Is there anyone of the admitted students who has already received through FedEx the admissions package from Chicago? They said it should arrive by the 20th of March

No. But they said they would send it around March 20.

I turned down UCH's admission offer this week in order to vacate my spot for those of you still waiting.
