Has anyone received anything this week-end?
I really hoped something would come along but I was wrong...

Nothing this weekend. I also hoped that sth would come, but it seems that this year things proceed slower. Perhaps they have received a big number of applications. Let's hope that this week will bring sth to our inbox.
MikifromItaly, I thought you were going to Columbia and that only Harvard or Stanford would change your mind. However, I saw that you're really interested in seeing what is going to happen with Chicago. Are you having second thoughts about Columbia?

Hi L&E-pil, you are right about my thoughts about Columbia/Harvard/Stanford but, nonetheless, Chicago is an excellent law school with a restricted LL.M. program and I would be very proud of being admitted there.

I received my app. complete email on 12/27 and nothing else... let's keep everyone posted and good luck. kind rgds

I know they have already made some decisions... That is why I though they were going to release them soon. Actually, some of the current LL.M.s here where asked to update certain info the Law School is intending to send to accepted applicants by Feb. 11... Keep the faith, it just can't take long.

I would be really in interested in learning the date that participants to the forum discussion received their "application complete" notification. I've heard that the sooner you submit the application, the sooner you receive an admission/rejection from Chicago.
I received mine on the 13th of December.

I received the complete application email on November 7th 2007.

However, I don't think that I stand many chances getting an answer from U of C with the first bunch of people who will be notified until Feb 11th, for I have submitted my application early December, which is actually very late when compared to people like you who submitted their application early November. I guess MikifomItaly you are going to be one of the first to be notified from Chicago, so I'm expecting updated information from you now and not from my inbox! Good luck neighbor (I'm Greek)!

i sent my application at the first week of january ( i know it's very late) and got the complete notification on 29 January, they said it was due to to a lag time in processing during this busy season
i dont think i will receive the news as soon as 11 Feb,

It's an unofficial information that we have from Rej, who is a doctoral student at the Law School of the University of Chicago. He claimed that the first decisions have already been made and that according to his information they are going to be communicated BY (not neccesarily ON) Feb 11th. I think he is a reliable source of information, but you have to know that this is nothing official. Consequently, it is LIKELY (but not 100% sure) that the first admission/rejections/waiting lists are going to be communicated during this weekend (as Chicago has proven in the past that it might send out information relating to admissions etc. even on Saturdays).
