Richard Posner and I am focusing on how certain Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals (Posner's, Eaesterbrooks', and Wood's court) would have been differently resolved if applying a non Law & Economics criteria and how that would have impacted in other areas...

Oh.. it is really hard... For the last 3 years I have been trying to find at least one empiric conclusion or something and I have nothing... I would define myself as a bon vivant whose only real concern is reading, studing and chicks... So, not much of a life... American by election but was born in Africa.

Last year, the first people to receive admission by Chicago School of Law were notified on January 28th. However, it's not clear if the time you submit your application plays any role in the time you receive admission/rejection.
If they follow the same process this year, then the first responses will be out by the beginning of next week.
Rej, has proven to be a valuable source of information up to now, so it would be great to hear from him some news pertaining to the status of the application review process.

if anyone receives admission during this weekend (which is quite possible, since last year the first admissions were sent out the last weekend of January), then please post it here. Do not forget to mention the date you submitted your application and the date you received the "completed application" thing.

Nothing yet. First thing I'll do is to write here if I receive something. Anybody?

Re: e-mail v. mail notifications
Yep, my your-application-is-now-complete e-mail said that they would send out notifications by e-mail unless you e-mailed them back and requested otherwise. So I think e-mail it is.
