Berkeley LL.M German Grades

Menuchim

Hi,

can anyone give me some valid information about admission requirements for the LL.M program at UC Berkeley (Boalt Hall), especially which grades in the german First State Examiniation are necessary to have a realistic chance? How important are academic publications, work experience etc.? (I have just passed the First State Examination, Top 2 %, but have just started work on my dissertation und do not have considerable work experience so far).

Thank you for your answers in anticipation!

Its always the overall picture that counts. Top 2 % and a PhD should be enough academically. As far as I know, Berkeley is not the kind of school that attaches too much importance to working experience - contrary to Columbia for example.
