I need to write because since I received news from a friend that got accepted in another program, I haven't been able to work. I just found this blog in my search to know something...
I was rejected in Chicago and I hope that my next news will be better.
All this good news for some of you are very stressful.
Sasha and Hanna where are u from?

The standard admission email is sent to all applicants. Professor Guzman is part of the admissions committee and the people in the office send the email, not Professor Guzman directly!
The email is either sent by Stephanie, Erin at the admissions office and it is the same acceptance letter to all applicants!

Hurray,
Berkeley admission decisions are out and I am in :-). Received the email tonight. Awful narrow deadline: They want an answer by March 19th including a $ 500 deposit.
I wonder if you have 2009/2010 academic year admission from Berkeley. If so, would you post which email you have received from berkeley?

Can I assume that other pending ones can expect to receive theeir decisions right after 19 March?

Folks,
I just met Harumi, the manager of LL.M. & JSD program in the party this evening. I asked her why some ppl. knew the decision while many still don't. She said that it's up to when the committee finish each lot. Furthermore, she expect that in the next week, all decision might be finished.
so, keep being patient for just couple days more..
For the financial form thing, I'm pretty blur with it b/c I thought I sent everything including the acceptance form in the same time.
Good luck for you all.

Thank you Veve. this is precious first-hand information and - foremost - let me relaxing a little. May I ask you one more question? To your knowledge, do you know if merit-based scholarships are released along with admission offers?
