Berkeley admission decisions are out and I am in :-). Received the email tonight. Awful narrow deadline: They want an answer by March 19th including a $ 500 deposit.

congrats! so it was by e-mail. any scholarship? do you intend to pursue also the certificate in environmental law? thank you for sharing

There will be a seperate letter regarding financial aid issues.

The email was rather generic, only stating that I have been accepted for the 2009-2010 academic year. Financial aid decisions will be made separately and hopefully will arrive before March 19th deadline. I am not decided on the environmental law specialization, but I will definitely put a stronger emphasize on environmental law issue while being there.

I was accepted by UC hastings today at the same time. But I have not heard anything from UC berkley and UC Davis.

Does anybody have the same occasion as me?

Do you think the three universites, berkley, hastings and Davis, share the information about applicants?

I don't want to belive they are adjusting their applicants in each school by sharing information.

Please give us more information about this problem.

Sacha, could you please tell us if there are "additional conditions" for this deposit, such as the withdrawal of any pending applications, the refusal of any current admission offers from other schools etc.?

NYU adopts this aggresive policy... how about Berkeley?

May I ask all the admitted when did they get their "application complete" mail? thanks so much!

I submitted my application on the last day of the deadline (Hello ultraspeedy delivery services :-) and received the application complete email on December 18.

I've got the application complete on 9th of January, so I hope they are making decisions chronologically :)

A little disappointed...I got mine on 12/13...let's wait and see. thank you sascha and santa
