I hear you :) I had said "if I were you"... so that would be my choice, waiting for (and, if necessary reapplying to) Berkeley

I think I get what you're saying. If you were me you would wait for Berkeley, and reapply there next year. But only if you were me?

Yes, only :) Since I'm me (and not you), I have to complete my law degree (in a few months). And a couple of months later I'll submit the LLM applications (including Berkeley).

Rejected but I was offered a phone interview for the Professional Track...is this normal to everyone rejected? Do you think it is worth going down this way instead of USC ($) or UCLA (wait listed)?

Does anyone know anything about such an interview?

Thanks and congratulations to everyone admitted!

To the people who still haven't heard back: when did your app go under review? Mine on the 5th of March

6th of March...
I sent an e-mail to ask yesterday...

I would be really interested in what they have to say if you can share with us their response..maybe they review applications on a first come first serve basis

I doubt it....Cuz I complete my application quite early, like early November last year

I emailed them about this and they replied that they had already sent award notices to all of the chosen ones to receive the scholarship that they offer, hence if you havn't heard from them by now it means that you have not been selected for an award.

Best.

According to the Admitted students website, attendance at these courses seems to be mandatory during Orientation and fall term (introduction to US law) or during both terms (legal writing)

Hey everybody,

Does anyone know anything about passing the NY Bar after an LLM at Berkeley? Are there any preparation courses that take place in San Francisco or Berkeley itself?

Best regards,
OD
