Hey Wan:

I am in the same boat. I also got half. However, if Penn Law gives me substantially more, I will go to Penn, it's only 55 minutes from NYC and the living costs are way much cheaper and I kinda liked the way Penn treated people during the application process.

I am giving up my seat at Columbia, Michigan, Cardozo and Indiana. So I am just really torn between Penn and NYU and right now it boils down to the dollar for me, both schools are incredible.

When was your deadline for acceptance from NYU?

Hi Econ..

Thanks for holding up the light for Africa...
i hear NYU is great..
..sorry to hear about your "dollar" issues...i trust things will workout well for you..
I guess another cause for low African interest in a US LLM is the lack of intel, most bright people just don't know that it is possible to go to some of the worlds best law schools, it never even crosses their mind...the stats are even lower for female lawyers... so, thanks for holding up the light... i sure hope i can tap into your wealth of knowledge of how LLM applications work.
I'm from Nigeria & getting into Harvard Law is my current dream, i kind'a missed the 2010 Application, but i'll definitely put in for the next fall program. any ideas when the application opportunity will open again?
since the HLS application process is now solely online via 'embark', its hard to lay hold on information that will help a prospective fresh applicant, i'm wondering if any body out there can email me some old PDF application docs with application requirement details and probably some brochures, i would really appreciate it...
Believe it not,u held up the light and lit mine..thanks!

regards
Daisy
