All they told me was I did not meet their criteria for admission as "described in the Admissions section of the Graduate Tax Program catalog." I'm not really sure what those standards are or if I did know I have forgotten. I got two strong letters of rec sent with my letter to request reconsideration so hopefully that will help. I don't have great grades but I come from a very high ranked school so I thought that would be enough to get in.

It seems like you've been waiting very long and still has no decision made. When did you apply to UF Tax LLM? Have you applied to other programs?

I personally applied late and have not yet received notification of completeness....

I reckon that this process is pretty stressfull, but don't give up until you've got a decision on whether admitted or not.

I have been waiting an extremely long time for both

UF was completed in late November and they have told me 2 times that I would know "within a week" and it has long flew past both times without any decision. Calls to UF result in no return phone call so I am just waiting

Georgetown was finished a week before that BUT they sent me a letter telling me I was going on their waiting list and would know by March 26th.....I called them on the 27th and they said I would know within a week.....and nothing

Listen, I understand I am on their waiting lists and I can't be impatient but STOP TELLING ME dates then have them fly by with nothing

I have until the 24th or 26th to give Northwestern a decision and am hoping I hear from both before then

UF told me I would hear within 4 weeks back in February and it ended up taking 7 and a half weeks. I haven't heard anything from NYU yet, and I applied there back in October.

I got my application late March and was told it would take about a month for them to decide. From what I'm hearing I think I may be waiting a bit longer than that.

I sent in my app on March 5 and UF sent me a "completed" email on April 16. I recieved all of my other decisions before that, within the first few weeks of April.

how many are still waiting?

For anyone still waiting for a UF decision, I called to check on the status of my application and they said that they've been busy with graduation so decisions will probably go out the third or fourth week of this month.

admitted to the UF taxation program and they would like to join our
mailing list.

So, I guess the UF admission process is still going on.

In the mailing list, we have discussed lots of things like housing, cars,
programs and etc.
Now we are planning to have a party before the program starts.
