Hi avg2008,
Congrats for your admission!
I have been admitted at UF and GT, and I'm still waiting for decion from NYU. So I don't know what i'm gonna do (a bit confused for the moment).
What about you?

Hi all. I have yet to apply but will be completing my applications shortly. For those who were accepted if you don't mind sharing your admissions stats I would appreciate it so I can gauge my chances to be admitted.
Also, in your opinion do you think it is considered late in the admissions cycle already and will this hurt my chances?

Hi!
I am from Argentina, where are you from? I am planning to go to Gainsville early during the year to find an appartment (I am working in New York).
I don´t think admission late this year is a problem. I had good recommendation letters, one of them of a previious student of the tax llm in UF.

Tax08, are you a domestic or international applicant. If you are domestic you still have plenty of time to apply.

Hi Avg. I am Brazilian and I am also thinking about going to Gainesville to check some apartments (I am living in San Diego and I will go back to Brazil in one month).
Tax08, I dont think that is late to apply. I talked to Prof Michael a couple of months ago and he told that apply late doesnt reduce your chances to get accepted.

I am a domestic applicant. Thanks for your responses. They are very helpful.

Definitely have plenty of time to apply. The majority of applicants here are international students who have earlier deadlines and have a more difficult application process logistically. For the domestic students the application deadline is not until april I believe and to be honest I have heard that schools dont even really begin to review domestic applications until right about now (unless you applied early decision).
Just from personal experience I applied to GT and NYU and my applications became complete in mid-february. I got acceptance to GT in about 3-4 weeks while NYU took until early may to accept me.

Congratulations everybody for your admissions! I am an Italian tax practitioner, and I am seriosly evaluating UF International Taxation LLM (or Leiden Adv. LLM in International Taxation). Would you please tell me how much do you think does UF program deal with only US international tax law and how much with tax treaties, or general international tax law? In other words, do you think is it a good program for an European practitioner (of course I have a strong interest also in US international taxation rules). Do you think it is possible to find a job (e.g., 2-year period) in a US big-4 or big law?
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much!

For those who got admitted to UFL in International Taxation, when did you get an e-mail with the response? Is there anyone from Brazil? I sent my application in december and I don't have answer yet... is that normal? Do you know wherelse I should apply?
