Antitrust LLM

Hi Everyone!

I am thinking of enrolling to a US LLM program with a specific focus on comparative antitrust law in 2011.

Personally, I will try to get to NYU and CLS programs but I would still like to apply to 2-3 other programs in addition to that. What would you recommend?

What do you think about Berkeley in this respect? Would it be worth trying it? Is there any good program in DC?

Thanks.

Michael

I came to the US to study antitrust law and went to the University of Chicago. I couldn't imagine going anywhere else to study competition law and economics, though I'm sure NYU's trade regulation programme and Columbia's LLM would also be good. If you're looking at DC, I'm sure Georgetown offers some good opportunities.

Berkeley has some excellent economists in the IO field. If LLM students can cross enroll for credit in graduate economics courses, then Cal would be a great opportunity.

Irish Guy - Im Irish myself thinking of relocating to practise in the U.S. I was wondering as someone in a similar as in moving from Ireland to the States if you would have any advice on a path to pursue.

I was also wondering how you financed a masters in America as its a route I would love to go down but find it very costly probably too expensive
