Just got rejection from UCLA i can only go to USC now.

I was accepted a couple of hours ago!!!

One part of the admission mail sound very interesting:

"You will also have access to exciting professional opportunities. UCLA is the proud host of the West Coast International LL.M. Job Fair. This event brings together employers specifically interested in hiring LL.M. graduates. Like students at other top-tier schools, our students are invited to the annual NYU job fair. Our newer fair, however, focuses on the West Coast specifically, and is an important addition to the LL.M. job market."

However, I am waiting for Yale, my Dream School, but UCLA is among the finest law school, and it would be great to study at California!!!

BTW, I am from Asia.

I've been lurking on llm-guide for a while, and am happy to be making my first posting. I got an acceptance email from UCLA today and am thrilled. I'm still waiting to hear about aid, and I have not received word from the other univs I applied to.

Hi Mauricel, i am also sorry to hear about the UCLA rejection. But i totally agree that USC is an equally good school.

are the rejections being sent by e-mail? I hear that people are already being wait listed. As I havent heard anything was wondering what may be the situation.

To those who got rejected/admitted.... when did you submit the application and have it complete?

I submitted mine in Jan, and hvnt received a completion email so far but in the status chk site, it shows that all required docs are checked.

Hi i also received the application notice from UCLA that states that i am in. I applied in the third week of January and received a complete mail i think at the beginning of Fabuary.

BTW. how do I know about financial aid?

I am in too. Received e-mail couple of hours ago.
About financial aid, I received a second e-mail few minutes later indicating that I was awarded a Dean's scholarship.
So I think that there is a second e-mail to be waited on about financial aid.
Best to all for this (too) long waiting period...

Belgium09, does the Deans scholarship cover the whole tuition fee?

I didn't receive a second mail today so i suppose I didn't receive any financial aid.

Im so scared a lot of people have received and acceptance or rejection letter since February 17, and I havent received anything. I want to know if this is a bad sign. BTW I submit my application on the deadline.

Hey gonher... this is sign of times...good or bad...really don't know...just keep your fingers crossed...i too submitted my application on deadline. almost last date, and that followed my paperwork in mail. keep us posted if you get a response, bud!
