Per your experience, is having an accounting background a must to aim for a Tax LLM and a tax attorney career?

I don't think an accounting background is a requirement for a tax law LLM, as I have met people accepted to NYU's Tax Program without undergraduate accounting degrees. However, in my opinion, it would probably be a plus, since tax analysis especially for income tax is simplified when one knows accounting. In my case, an accounting degree helped me get into NYU, GULC and HLS tax programs.

Hello I am currently a law student in Boston, Massachusetts in the United States, I'm graduating in december and hope to move to nigeria. Does anyone know what process I need to follow in order to be able to practise law in Nigeria. Do I have to go to law school in Nigeria again or just take a certifying exam because I would already have a JD from my law school in America.
