Hi there!
According to my admission letter, Vandy is a small law school, with 600 American law students and about 15 LLM's per class exch year. So I think you will choose to go there? I am still deeply troubled by how to pick one from USC, Vandy, and Washington University in St. Louis.

Wmmm...Why there isn't such an accurate number in mine?... If it is true, I will choose Vandy. By the way, if I haven't paid the deposit yet, will it have some problems? (The deadline is April 1st).
I also received the Washington U in St. Louis, but I prefer a smaller program.
I guess the advantage of USC is its location, and it ranks the same as Vandy in 2007 ranking. Vandy is a quiet park while the USC is a modern city. It depends on which type you like.
Thank you, Keyif.

Hello tweetypie! I guess the admission letter is different form country to country. Here is the context of mine: "Let me tell you a little bit about Vanderbilt. We are a small law school, with 600 American law students and about 15 LLM's per class each year. We give all our students individualized attention. Because of this, and because of the unusually friendly atmosphere here at Vanderbilt, students report extremely high levels of satisfaction with our law school, much higher than with most others. We are proud of this, and we are always working to make it even better." In addition, in their paper admission letter, it mentioned that :"To reserve your place in the LL.M. Class of 2007, please send a $250.00 deposit to the Office of Admission with the enclosed Seat Deposit Form no later than April 15, 2006. I guess the deadline of deposit is differrent for country to country as well. Good luck! By the way, where are you from?

Hi, Keyif. It seems that we did receive different admission letters. I come from China. What about you?

Yes, it is true. Have you decided yet? I am still troubled but with hope that I could be accepted by other higher-ranked schools so that I could have better choices. How about you? Are you still waiting for other schools' admission?

Not any more. The higher one may not offer me such a small program, which I think is most important to me. What are you waiting for?

I am waiting for some of IVY league. Though I don't think I have a good chance to get into more prestigious schools, it's no harm to live with hope. Maybe we could meet up at Vandy later in this year. Hope we could help each other and better our English there. Why you are so into small classes? I think it is more helpful but stressful since you will have an eye-contact with everyone in such a class. LOL

Wmmm...I agree, but I'm the one who love to make more friends, not only just being the classmates, but also being friends. On the other hand, I may have more chances to communicate with my advisors or professors in a small program, which I think is very helpful. Don't you think so?

Hi there! I may be a little different to others majoring in Law. I received my B.A. and LL.B in 2005 with double majors in Public Finance and Business Law. I probably won't work at a law firm but a CPA firm since having an open offer at PricewaterhouseCooers LLP. How about you guys? By the way, I think I will go to Vandy instead of USC or Washington University in St.Louis.
