Having read through the posts, I just cannot imagine that there is just only one administrative staff handling all enquiries all over the world for such a highly competitive and prestigious LLM programme...
Hopefully she is not also the only one who sends every single email for offer/rejection and update everyone's CamSIS account...

Got a conditional offer from Mrs Wade in early March but my Camsis account still reads waiting for decision from Board of Graduate Studies. Sydney Sussex was my college of first choice but at this stage I'm a little worried all the LLM spots might be gone.... :(

I've called the past 4 days like 10 times per day, to no avail... I've heard nothing of my application.

Bro. Don't call people 10 times a day. It isn't cool.

Hi.
The call hasn't been answered, therefore I haven't contacted them 10 times, as you might think.

Yah, I tried to impress that subtle distinction upon a judge when my wife was applying for a restraining order. He didn't buy it. ;)
But seriously, it only takes ten people doing what you're doing, and she's getting 100 calls a day :(
Probably best to assume she's got fairly limited resources at her disposal, and weight for camsis to update you.

Dear All,
Just got the email conveying the conditional offer for LLM !!! :) :)
Had given up all hopes, so this comes as a bbig big surprise, a pleasant one at that!
Would like to know what the conditions generally are like? The attached documents says conditions will be uploaded on the Camsis, but the status hasnt changed. Could anyone please throw some light on this???
Will be really grateful.
Thanks,
M.

Same thing here! Is there anyone who received his offer in early March (or even earlier) and is still stuck with the same Camsis status?

To those who applied to Sidney Sussex College, did you apply for the available LL.M. scholarship?

Guys,
First of all, congratulations to those who received an offer. For those who are still waiting, please keep your hope alive.
For those who received an offer email from Ms Wade, you can rest assured that your place is secured. The rest is just a matter of time. I am a veteran of this apprehension so know how you guys feel but all I can say is "Keep Cool".
It seems to be that once your CamSiS status shows "Awaiting decision by the Board of Graduate Studies", you have to wait up to 3 - 4 weeks before the BoGS makes you an official conditional offer, i.e., your CamSiS status would then change to "offer made". Please refer to this Web page for the given timeline: http://www.gradunion.cam.ac.uk/wp/forum/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=18499&sid=c0f7a9fa11bab0bd9bd9f89f07cc49d5
Only after that could you view details attached to the offer such as conditions, financial matter, etc. Basically, the conditions are just formalities (except those whose offer is conditioned upon an academic or language requirement).
As to the said formalities, you would normally have to: (1) prepare an original transcript and post it to the BoGS (so, you can prepare to have one now); (2) upload a bio-data page of your passport along with a completed academic progression form and financial undertaking form onto the system via CamSiS; (3) if any, withdraw other Cambridge's application/offer of yours; (4) wait for the college result; and (5) for an MCL offer holder, pay the reservation fee. After you complete all of these, an unconditional offer can thus be confirmed. Note that conditions for each person can be varied.
If any details above depart from the correctness, please those in the know suggest.
I hope this can more or less take out a bit of your worry over the post-offer procedures.
Cheers!

It's been 6 weeks now since I received an offer, not 3-4 weeks.
Also, even if our status changes, will we ever get a letter via traditional mail and maybe a welcome prospectus, like LSE sends you?

Hi, normally, I think 3-4 weeks' time would start to count after your status changes to "Awaiting decision by the Board of Graduate Studies", probably not an email offer from Ms Wade. Anyway, this is possibly the BoGS' peak time so I guess the process might take longer. Honestly, I don't really have the idea about BoGS work; mine took approx 4 weeks from "Awaiting decision by the Board of Graduate Studies", though.
For the welcome prospectus, I don't know either. But it seems all documents from them will be proceeded online.

Regarding original transcripts: What do you guys think, does Cambridge request them just for your LLB/first degree (like Oxford and LSE do) or rather for anything you've uploaded (additional LL.M., Ph.D., bar exam results etc.)?

Hi all,
I got an offer for the Cambridge LL.M., but I have a doubt regarding the residence requirements.
I understand that Cambridge has a residence requirement, consisting in that all graduate students should live in the University precinct. The thing is that my husband will be living in London, so it is impossible for me to fulfill that requirement. I was planning to commute and only stay there when strictly necessary, but I see now that it is not an option.
Does anybody know how strict is the university regarding this rule? how do they control this? can you request an exemption? are exemptions common or are too difficult to obtain (for a case like this)?
Thanks!!

Is anyone aware as to how many instalments can the fees be paid in?
Thanks.
