Queen Mary and UCL

Symphony

Dear All,
I'm a bit confused reading this forum, please help me to get a correct information...
I'm in a middle of application to LLM by distance learning in University of London. On their website there is a line:

"The Postgraduate Laws programme has been developed by academics within Queen Mary and UCL Law departments"

On this website i can see that people are choosing between Queen Mary and UCL taking this as 2 different institutions.

Does anyone know if there is a choice where to go applying for distance learning? And also- does anyone know about the reputation of these 2 institutions?
Thank you in advance for all the answers!

In a nutshell, all the major colleges that are constituents of the University of London run their own LLM programmes. The course you are applying for is "External" and not awarded or ran by an individual college but directly by the University of London, Senate House.

While courses you will take are instructed by UCL and QM eg. lecturers from those colleges produce handouts/reading lists, you don't have any attachment to those colleges and there is no choice to be made between the colleges.

There is more discussion on the external LLM here:
