For those interested in commercial law (especially international business transactions and arbitration) how do you find the NYU LLM in International Business Regulation, Litigation and Arbitration compare to the BCL?

Has anyone else found out what college they’ve been accepted to?

The 2018-19 cohort received college offers between 1-10 weeks after the course offers had been released. If the same is stated in your acceptance letter, then sit back and wait :)

I had to wait 8-9 weeks for mine... know the waiting time is excruciating though.

So we could potentially receive the college offer after the April deadline for accepting the faculty offer? That makes me quite uncomfortable since the college placement might play a big role in arbitrating between my different offers.

You shouldn’t regard it as an issue. You can accept Oxford’s offer and later withdraw it any time before the start of the course. It’s stated in one section of the offer letter.

To my knowledge it took some time, but I'd suggest calling the Law School.

Yes, chiefly because of the scholarship possibilities.

I haven’t heard anything yet from the Faculty. I emailed my college (New College) and was told that scholarship decisions will be made next month.

Also awaiting funding / scholarships.

Additionally, are there other people still awaiting college information? I have not yet heard anything. My preference was St Edmund (with partner accomodation).

If college X has released the scholarship offers/rejections, it doesn't necessarily mean that college Y will have already released its offers/rejections as well; it's not a centralised system, each college has its own bureaucratic system. You should start hearing back for sure from May onwards. If you haven't been allocated at a college, you won't receive the scholarship offer until they made up their mind; though how it works is either (a) will give allocate you at a college with a scholarship offer; (b) will allocate you at a college without a scholarship but hopefully will give you one; (c) will allocate you at a college, no scholarship, but might transfer you to another one if they feel you need a scholarship.

Everything is in the T&A of the offer.
