It's still 5:18 am in Oxford. Another day of waiting awaits us lol.
In the words of legal writer DJ Khaled, ‘another one’. Hopefully, the BCL applicants hear today so that us MJur students can hear tomorrow!

I thought we’d have heard by now. Suspect it might not be utilised tomorrow afternoon now. Very sad

No way! You just want to undermine my spirits! Shame on you!)

Maybe Oxford doesn't really exist and we've been scammed of our application fees by some fly by night school, which is really a year old, instead of 1000 years as advertised. And the owner of the school is probably vacationing in Southeast Asia, impervious to our suffering and enjoying his tenth tequilla shot, laughing at all the gullible lawyers around the world he tricked.
He shouldn't be too at ease, given that he has conned several lawyers/future lawyers.

Update: in the past two hours, the BCL/MJur 2019/2020 Facebook group was created. This means offers are about to start coming in.
May the odds be in your favour.

I looked at last year’s discussion feed and some of them were making guesses on whether they were about to be rejected by looking at the group. I have been keeping an eye on a group with search terms BCL 2019 since then.
Yes, that’s how bad the wait is.

How would they know just by looking at the Fb group?

I was about to ask the same question.

It’s not a very strong assumption but they assumed they were still in the run to get an offer because only 40 people were in the group at the relevant time. Obviously, that relies on an assumption that a high proportion of applicants would join the Facebook group, so I wouldn’t rely on that.
I mean, this year’s group has 227 membres which is more than actual students anyway; this shows how cautious assumptions based on the group should be made. However, one thing it says for certain is that decisions are coming very soon, as the group is created by the Faculty of Law so it can be sent to offer holders

Can you share the link of the group?

Can you share the link of the group?
It’s available if you search BCL/MJUR 2019-20 on Facebook. 5 members as of now (whatever that means, probably mostly faculty staff)
