Hi everyone!
I got offers for both MCL and MJur, didn't apply for MLF becuase it seemed too much finance related. Now I have difficulties to choose because I like the content of MCL and I think it's a very promising program, but I don't know whether I should stick with Oxford instead and combine a similar set of courses there. They say both universities have the same reputation, but I would like to switch to academia (still in the field of corporate and commercial law mainly) afterwards, so I'm wondering wheter one would be better than the other for me. Any ideas/thoughts?

Of course, I stated in both applications that I was going to apply to either Cambridge and Oxford.
Btw, did you apply to the all the programmes (MFL, MCL, LLM, MJUR)?
No, LLM/MJur only, as I wanna do PIL

So Meister, with all your amazing options, are you going to choose the BCL?

Hi all
Just received a note of acceptance for the BCL. Absolutely delighted and hope to see some of you there later this year (if I manage to take a First in May!).
I note from above some folk are keen to know CV info for those that are accepted/rejected, so for those who are interested: I'm in the final year of my undergraduate LLB at Strathclyde University in Glasgow, Scotland; have a few of academic prizes for individual classes; and came top of my year last year.
Best

Another offer for the BCL here. Conditional on sending in undergrad transcript

Admitted to BCL yesterday. Has anyone heard about scholarships?
Posted Mar 14, 2012 14:22
I think we will first hear from Colleges and thereafter funding decisions will be made. Cambridge normally realeases these outcomes in late Spring so probably Oxford follows the same policy

Offer for the BCL made yesterday, conditional on obtaining a first overall.
Details on colleges to be released end of April / beginning of May.

Congrats to everyone with offers for BCL or Mjur or MLF!
Since I have been offered the BCL course, I'd like to ask all BCL offerees what are the modules you would choose, have you started considering the same?
I am from India, currently in the final year of my undergraduate degree in law.

Got an offer from LSE too... But Oxford is ten times better... However, I guess it depends on what you are interested in...

And between Oxford Mjur and Cambridge LLM ?...
Posted Mar 16, 2012 23:46
Edinburgh < Queen Mary < Kings = LSE = UCL < Cambridge < Oxford.
Do you agree?

To be more precise, I read that many people distinguish between Mjur < CamLLM < BCL ...

I wonder why the MJur would be that "worse" than the BCL since these programs are supposed to be pretty similar..
