We will :)
I'm pretty excited to study jurisprudence at Oxford. The recommendation that students have a reading knowledge of French for comparative public law made me a bit nervous though (but I'm guessing it won't be a problem for you, to put it mildly).

I received an e-mail today "Welcome to the University of Oxford Accommodation Office!" regarding accommodation. I thought the colleges would be writing us if we received a place. does this mean that I didn't get a college place? anyone else get this e-mail?

No, every admitted student will for sure get a college place. However, some colleges cannot accomodate all graduate students and therefore it is recommended to apply for accomodation provided by the University as well.

@ dmagalhaes; I wrote to Ms. Janet Mead, regarding the accommodation, as I have not been offered a place by a college, do I still have to fill the form, she said that I should fill the form and also notify them as soon as I receive an offer from a college.

Every single lecturer, undergrad student, postgrad student, etc, at Oxford is a member of a college. Everyone admitted to the BCL will be found a place in a college. Whether that college then is able to offer you an accommodation room is going to differ from college to college.
In Oxford, unlike in many other places, "Being at a college" is not 100% synonymous with "staying in a bedroom in a college".

Just received an offer from Balliol by mail.

Congratulations! What a wonderful college.
The rest of us will be biting our nails in anticipation.

Same here - Balliol offer by mail! Just one question as I was not really aware of that before I read the mail from Oxford/Balliol:
Is there really a difference of about 10.000 pound between the Oxford MJur and the Cambridge LLM for European applicants?
Cambridge estimated costs of about 19.000 pound, Oxford about 28.500 pound in their respective financial undertaking form! This would make a decision somewhat easier...

Lincoln it is for me!
Has anyone been to Lincoln College before?
Also, is Hertford College more popular/difficult to get in?

Beautiful college! May I ask - do you opt not to have a college preference on your application?
Many thanks.

No, of course not. I wrote Lincoln as my preference. Anything else would be silly; I highly doubt one would get into any of the more popular colleges.
I certainly wouldn't refer to such a move as "silly."
BCL/MJUR teaching is all central. So college choice makes no real difference at all. Popular college or not - makes no difference at all...

Has anyone got experience with Hertford College? Is it a good college for grad students to be in apart from its central location?

"Silly" is not the right word here. It suggests you're not completely across how the system works.
Whatsmore, Lincoln usually has one of the biggest MJur-BCL/postgraduate law student contingents.
