I read somewhere that the common depiction of an Oxbridge student (whether well found or not and whether fitting or not) is that of a person imersed in his books, having no other thing to his life than pursuit of scholistic studies.

Well, I certainly have more to my life than the pursuit of academia. And I am not immersed in my books. So I guess the stereotype is wrong...

Will Oxford be sending offers via email, too? I somehow got the impression that they only send letters...that would prolong the wait for another few weeks...hopefully I'm wrong?
