Last year, did everyone hear from Oxford on the same day? Or is it going to be like Cam?

To all those who don't make the Oxford cut, remember that there is life beyond the BCL, life beyond masters programs, and, if nothing else, there is always next year.

Not to say that the results will be released imminently or anything ;)

Can't agree with you more! Don't understand how ppl can become so obsessed with counting days and unnecessary speculation.

This is very easy.

The University is obliged to communicate a decision to applicants by Friday 20th. Thus, yes, you should receive your decisions this week. It could be today, it could be Friday. Either way, I would say the 16th or the 20th both constituted mid-March, which was probably a synonym for 'by the 20th' as the rules state.

The decisions may have been taken weeks ago, but they evidently are not willing to inform people until the latest possible moment- we have after all reached the last possible week, and last year's announcement was just days before the final deadline for making offers/rejections to candidates.

The endless speculation is kind of futile, and will result in a lot of heartache for many who simply won't make the cut, unfortunately. Good luck everyone.
