So we will be notified by letter (not email), and we should hear by the 20th. Good luck to everyone!

So does it mean the letters are on their way and we should receive them no later than 20th March?
Thanks

Ox and HLS are due this week! What could be more thrilling?
Posted Mar 16, 2009 14:24
I would think it would be by letter after the 20th (so would hear next week). Although, in reality I imagine that emails would be sent!
Posted Mar 16, 2009 14:33
Please correct me if I am wrong, according to the post of previous year, the outcomes were first heard via an e-mail.
Posted Mar 16, 2009 14:37
Hmm...it says that DECISIONS will be made by the 20th. So now I'm thinking we still might hear just after the 20th. And LETTERS still might mean emails. After all, the Cambridge offers had a 'letter' attached to the email...

People are freaking out, and it is still monday....
Posted Mar 16, 2009 14:42
I'm not freaking out, just trying to get one step ahead of the game...which actually is probably impossible. Oh well, just got to wait a little longer...

I was not talking about you suze, hehehe
And I was just joking, I know these are anxious moments...

Jag, I'm worried if the oxon offer is by post. The postman might decide to eat the letter....... -_-"

I see. Perhaps it meant 'e-post' or 'e-letter'...
Posted Mar 16, 2009 17:58
@ Jag - Did you say a couple of weeks for Cam's next round of offers?? This is just so depressing. Btw - why do you say that?

Oh dear. I'm starting to go nuts. I have a clock on my desk sent to BST just so I might be able to best anticipate when an email will come. I don't know if I can wait another week... I'm going to end up in Bedlam.
(I've been getting through the weekends by dividing the days into "About a Boy"-esque discrete hourly units, and getting the "satisfaction" of a "countdown" as the hours go by and I scratch them off the list... so if we're talking insanity here, I think I win the prize...)

Haha, I think Jag and I are in the run for the prize too.
