Let's face it: we are all screwed. I really would not be surprised if yesterday they have sent out all the announcements about the incoming offers; they are now sending out the 'real' offers to those applicants. Natural next step is to send out the rejections.

Time before being sentenced is sheer torture. All I want is a decision, no matter a rejection or something worse (if any).1f622

I understand that Oxford usually waives the English language requirement for the two situations Miki mentioned, but for the UG education it would have to be no less than 2 academic years before the start of the course at Oxford. I am from a non-English speaking country and my UG education was 5 years ago, so sadly I do not meet either of these restrictive conditions and have been asked to provide proof of English language competency. I was wondering if any of you have heard of Oxford waiving this requirement for those whose UG education was in English but more than 2 years have elapsed?

Yes they do (my requirement was waived), but there are conditions that have to be met: you must come from an English-speaking country or you must have had your UG level education in English (and there was something else, but I can't remember)

Hi all, does Oxford law faculty ever waive the requirement for an English Language Test? Does anyone know about any such case?

Does it seem that no one received offers today except for those who were already notified informally yesterday?

yes this seems to be the general vibe, even for our small band of IHRLs.

It looks like this is the case, yes. The conclusion I draw from this is that the pain for those who have not received anything will last at least one more day...

Does anyone know what that means (I remember we have several current Oxford students who are also applying to some programs)? Do your guys know whether they already sent out all offers for Mjur/BCL/MPhil/DPhil? In previous years, they generally sent offers around 1~3 days. This year, it seems that yesterday was the first day... But no one received so fay Friday. What that means? Could we still expect offers today or next week...?
