My surname begins with H so it looks like I'm going to be a loser. Hopefully I at least get something from Cambridge after they've strung us along for so long.

Just a short note to those who will receive rejections in the coming days: the fact that you are rejected this time does not mean that you are not good enough. I would encourage you all to reapply next year (with better apps, grades, references, written work etc.) and with a bit more luck, as very often the decision whether you are admitted or not comes to sheer luck. You are competing against probably some of the best students in the world and this is already a merit in itself.

BCL applicant - my button disappeared sometime in the last ~12 hours. My surname starts with M. Seems that this only indicates that a decision has been made, rather than giving any hint as to the likely outcome?

The button is still there, so I guess I am also amongst the unlucky ones!

Looking at last year, only one person got an offer after still having the button there so I'd say so.
I guess we both have to put all our eggs in the Cambridge basket now.

Looking at last year, only one person got an offer after still having the button there so I'd say so.
I guess we both have to put all our eggs in the Cambridge basket now.
