I just received my BCL offer at 2.42pm (GMT). I likewise thought I was rejected so hang in there, the offers are definitely coming through at different times.


Congrats!! Did your button disappear at all and which country are you from?


Yes my button disappeared at around 11.30am (GMT) Wednesday 17/03. I'm from Australia.

It appears to that it is the other way around. Are we talking about the upload button for supporting docs? Mine is still there. 

I hope the other offer holders can confirm this.

Waiting is so stressful! Can the offer holders share a little bit about their profiles please? 

I lost hope. Graduated with a first but had a gradual improvement throughout my degree, not starting that well. I emailed them about that and they said that I fulfil the criteria and to apply. They said they take into consideration both written work and references. But now I’ve lost hope.

I know it won't help alleviate the stress of waiting but please don't forget that even being eligible to apply is an incredible achievement! Whether or not you are accepted you'll no doubt be in a great position to do whatever you set your mind to!

I'm expecting a rejection (didn't feel my application was particularly strong and also didn't get on the Cambridge LLM) but also want to know for certain so the waiting is difficult for a lot of us - you aren't alone!! Also, don't regret applying at all - always worth taking the chance.

Best of luck with everything :)

Thank you so much! I worked really hard in law school (first class honours, multiple extra-curriculars + 3 high court associateships) so I'm glad it has all paid off in this wonderful (and singular) achievement!! The first time I tapped in a name, no one noticed but then i revised every single part of my username and was successful on reapplication! Theres still hope for you too!  :p

I'm just wondering has anyone received any BCL offers since 4pm or think more could arrive before midnight? I don't want to lose the day pondering on slim hopes but it's hard to resist it.

I just thought I should let everyone know that I spoke to a member of admissions at the Law Faculty. They said that there are still offers for the BCL to be made tomorrow. Therefore, it is worth emphasising two points. First, if you have yet to hear something, do not lose heart just yet. Second, if you have not heard something by tomorrow afternoon, then you may commence with the disappointment, but not before.
