LSE Ph.D. 2021- applicants

Any updates from my fellow PhD Law applicants?

Nothing here... :( I’m thinking of booking a zoom session with them.

Just booked one for 29 April.

Thats probably our best bet, as I emailed them 2 weeks ago and no response. It’s just so extra for me to book a Zoom session with them as we literally just want an expected timeframe for a decision ... anyway :/ please let us know how it went

Exactly... I share the same thought. I also emailed them... three weeks ago - and nothing.

I will! There's one person here that has the session before I do, towards the end of this week. Let's see what they tell him first...if he's willing to share. I will do so as well after my session!

Of course, I'd rather we all knew the decision before the 29th... ugh...

Please keep us updated here, guys (for anyone who has some news).

Hey everyone! The call was super helpful. They accessed my application and informed me that a decision was made yesterday, but it's in transit, which means that the law school has delivered the decision to the admissions team, and it is now up to the latter to update us. The process usually takes a couple of days. For reference, I applied on the 18th of January. GOOD LUCK!

They only just mentioned that research applications take longer than usual, and they (the admissions team) notify the law school automatically whenever an application passes the 8 week mark. Thank you!

And what does “in transit” even mean in this digital era? The decision is not being detained at the border for check-ups...

Preach! Does your application portal say “in transit” not “under consideration” ?
