Hi! I write from Rome, and i 'm mooving my first steps in the world of foreign studies.
i have a honors master degree, i'm a lawyer, i attended courses for competition in the judiciary, I did some publications (of course, nothing really relevant) in the matters of civil, administrative and penal law; i have few experience, and i talk a little spanish, not better then english.
i first red today about the so colled llm masters.
i would be interested to improve my skills, even abroad, hoping this will give me more opportunities to work.
do you think this masters would do some opportunities in Italy, or even, for exemple, to work in european institutions?
on more, and this is very important for me: how much would it cost one of these masters? how long would it last? are there some lld during a bit less time?
i red there are some llm master in italy, in rome, in private comparative law, but i mmagine they won't give real working opportunities, isn't it?
many thanks in advance for your help!

Hi guys... I am having difficulty in choosing the University. Ive been offered chevening scolarship to study at UCL and i got scolarship from my employer to study at NYU. I was very sure about going to NYU, untill I received chevening scolarship. Some of my lawyer friends says being a chevening scholar is a prestige and all... but if i go to NYU, I can do bar exam and also it is higher ranked then UCL. So, guys let me know your views

Would any kind soul help me with my own dilemma?

I have been accepted to QMUL (IP law), Tilburg (law and technology) and Leiden (european law). I am not sure which one to accept.

Would I be closing too many doors by following IP/tech law, which I would not be closing with a broader EU law llm?

And, most importantly: how good is Queen Mary's international reputation and standing when compared to Leiden and Tilburg?

What would you do in my situation?

hi guys, I really need a help from you all..
I have been accepted to the LSE but I need to ask for a deferral due to: 1. bar exam which I'll have to take in October 2. a good job place which I have found and don't want to leave so soon 3. save money.

I have been told that be granted a deferral is not that easy..anyone has got experience with that and can help me figuring out what's the best way to write down the request and motivation?
thank you all

I've also been accepted to QMUL (Computer and Communications Law) and Tilburg (Law and Technology) and I am also not sure which one to accept. My heart says QMUL, but my bank account says Tilburg...

Does anyone have any idea about IELTS score required by QMUL. Do they consider if u fall short of the score required in the conditional offer by a slight margin.
