LSE/KCL/UCL/QMUL Applicants 2015/2016

Martamag

I just noticed that I have received an offer from LSE through the online application tracker. It says that the offer is sent by post on January 12, however I did not get an email informing me of the change on my application tracker, which seems a bit odd to me. Can anyone of the other offer holders relate to the situation?

By the way, is there a fb group for llm offer holders 2015 entry? Seems like a good way to get to know each other!

hi! yes it's normal! I figured out I had been admitted by checking the online tracker but I only received the email later in the afternoon!

Thanks for the quick response! Will you be accepting your offer? (And did you choose a specialisation or the general llm?)

I chose the master in International business Law! still have to make up my mind but I think I will accept the offer!what about you?

I selected commercial and corporate law, think I will be accepting the offer of LSE. King's wants me to take the IELTS test, they don't accept the TOEFL test (had 110, converted to IELTS this is above the 7.0 they require) and I'm not really willing to sit through another test like that...

I also noticed that I had received a conditional offer through LSE for you last night. The email is sent hours later.

Applied to LSE on the 26th of October. Got my 4th email on the 4th of December. Current student at the LSE.

Haven't heard back :(

I called them yesterday and they told me that they had made a decision and sent it back to graduate admissions who will inform me soon.

I think it is a rejection because I guess they have sent the acceptances this week.

LSE accepts on a rolling basis, hence there is no set date for offers/rejections. The fact that they started making offers this week does not mean they have made all the offers, nor that they did not make any rejections, nor that next week it will be 'rejection week'!! so there is no need to worry!!

I'm checking it every two minutes though it is a weekend so there is no point.

I know for a fact that they send a batch of acceptances and then a batch of rejections. It works like that for them I think.

I do not think that this is the way they work. They send a batch of first hand rejections in december, accept a few for sure and then wait on some depending on the acceptance of other offers.

I looked at the other forums and after January, almost no one reported a rejection. Keep on believing!

i think no one who received the 4th e-mail in december has heard from them yet. As they work on a rolling basis they send offers gradually. Or at least thats what I think

Not me, unfortunately - but I only received my 4th email on December 8. I wonder which date is currently being processed by the LSE.

Hi guys, I will submit my application to KCL this week and just need a opinion from someone who has already done it, please.
I have a IELTS score of 6,5 from last year and have already scheduled another exam for March.
Does anybody know whether it is better to submit this Ielts score (below the 7,0 required) and then sending another one or If I should wait for the next Exam?
Many thanks

In my opinion, better to send your application as early as possible than to risk KCL running out of places available (from what I could gather, the application's timing IS of the essence). If they really want you -- again, in my opinion -- they will issue a conditional offer, pending evidence that you have fulfilled their english requirement (in your case, a new TRF). But that's just me.
