Fingers crossed!

I hope that we’ll get a decision before the 31st of August though..

Just got an email that I’ve been added to the reserve list.. Anybody else got that email?

And does anybody know how likely it is to then get into the programme?

Yep same 2639

https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/statistics_of_the_reserve_list_a#incoming-1752631

…it’s pretty unlikely.

Also from reading past threads sounds like they have quotas for certain profiles to fill (international, home, full time, part time) - so
depends who turns down the offer.

I've also been placed on the reserve list. Do you know whether they have looked at the applications at all or do they put every applicant they haven't considered once the programme is full on the reserve list?

I think they might’ve looked at the applications because otherwise they could’ve just placed us on the waiting list.

According to LSE’s website being placed on the reserve list means the following: “You are on a reserve list. Your application is considered to be of a high enough standard, but no places remain on your chosen programme. If a place becomes available, you may be sent an offer later in the year. Final offers to reserve-listed applicants will be sent out by the end of August.”

thank you! And do you know whether we could use the same application (without paying the fee again and having to request new references) for next year's application cycle if we don't get in this year?

I also got put on the reserve list for LLM. The probability of coming off doesn't seem great but I'm keeping the faith lol. Really hope to get a decision before August because I'm international and would have to deal with visa applications + a scholarship application that requires an answer before August :(

On their website LSE states that "Applicants who are on the reserve list but who are not subsequently offered a place are able to reinstate their application for the following year at no extra cost. Instructions on how to do this will be in the final decision email."

So, I guess we have to wait until the end of August for further instructions on how to re-apply..

Thank you!

At least there is somewhat a silver lining

Hi everyone,

anyone got an offer?
I received my ID on 16/Feb, but still hasn't received any further information.
The tracker still says 'received but not yet verified':(

Hi, I'm not entirely sure what transcript drop means, so could someone explain? I thought it had to be last on the list of documents, but some people said that it could be above the references as well. Thanks!

Hey, has anyone on the reserve list gotten any updates yet or has anyone on this thread that received an offer turned it down? Last year people on the reserve list had started hearing back as soon as 10th April 1f613

Hi.
I shall be applying for the 2023-24 intake. Those who have been admitted, kindly pass on the wisdom. Need guidance on how to get admitted without any work experience or stellar grades.

Thanks in advance.

Also, good luck to everyone. :)

I have recently fulfilled the conditions required for making the offer unconditional. The LSE for you portal says that I have an unconditional offer now. But can anyone tell when can I expect to receive the unconditional offer letter? Because I need to submit the unconditional offer letter for a scholarship. Alternatively, if you could suggest me an email id where I should contact that would be much appreciated as well. Thank you so much.

Were you on the reserve list and then made an offer?
