I received a letter from UCL some days ago saying that they will make a decision on Feb 16. From King's, I didn't receive any info. I applied to King's on Dec 16 and I have already tried to contact them about the delay, but it didn't work.

I see.
I was accepted at King's 2 weeks after my application was completed. I spoke to UCL two weeks ago; they said they would send out a letter this week just gone acknowleding my application and then it would be another three to four weeks before a final decision would be made, however I still have not received anything.
when did you sumbit your application to King's?

my application was not completed until late december; what was their reason for the delay? UCL mentioned delay due to overload of applications over christmas

Well, now I am kinda losing hope...
November 28th... I wonder why don`t they reject or waitlist me for once (if that is the case).

crimlawyer, are you referring to King's?
If UCL, I believe most of us have waited for a quite long time, no reason to be worried, I believe someone above wrote the longer the wait the better.

I'm an Indian applicant from the University of Mumbai, final year B.L.S.LL.B student and I've been made a conditional offer.

I also rec'd the "a decision has been made on your app..." message. From my research (and the dec on my app) is that it always means "offer"

13243546 - when did you lodge your application? I note from this thread that some applications take only a few weeks to process and some take much longer...

I'm in! Conditional Offer (IELTS report).
I'm from Brazil and I received the "complete e-mail" on Dec 19.

oh sorry, I set my application in late November. If I recall, it took a little under two weeks to go complete.
Good luck.

Has anyone else here been put on the wait list?
Just curious to know if anyone else is out there in my situation.

I submitted my application on 14th Jan and LSE must have received all the supporting documents also by 16th.
My online tracking application status today states as under:-
The selectors have been unable to reach a final decision for the moment and your application has been placed on a waiting list. A letter has been posted to you. Your file will be passed back to the selectors for a final decision in six weeks' time (or once your second choice decision is returned to us). As soon as more information is available it will be posted here.
So yes, I am also on wait list.... but wat I am not able to understand is that they say that the selectors will make a decision either after 6 weeks or "once my 2nd choice decision is returned to them".....I opted for LLM-specialisation in International Business Law.
Does that mean that I will need to change my specialisation?
Anybody with a similar experience?

I don't think so. 2nd choice refers to the option in the application to apply to an entirely separate program -- a weird option that only seems to exist at lse.

ya, i thought so......still the statement altogether is very unclear...only one thing is clear that am on wait list!! and thats very annoying.

Hey xdude - are you a local or overseas application. It seems to be a rather quick decision by the Department (I wonder if an overseas application is going to take longer). I filed my application in the same week as you, wondering when will I get an answer from them...

Am an overseas candidate....hopefully, you should also hear from them this week and hope you hear of an acceptance rather than wait list...:)

Called LSE today. They said my file was already sent to the admissions office. Allegedly I'll have an answer next week (11th week)

Crimlawyer - somehow I just don't understand how this works. It appears that some of us are getting feedback relatively quickly (i.e. 3-4 weeks) while some are not getting feedback after 8 weeks. It all seems a little confusing....
