LSE Admissions

Same here actually. But what has also happened is that the University of Mumbai (I am from India) has changed its paper pattern and there is a drastic reduction in the marks scored. If you visit the LSE website and go through it carefully you will see that there is a provision to write to them to change/waive the condition with "supporting evidence". I suggest that if you think you are unable to comply with the condition, you must write to them well in advance and explain your problem to them so that later on they don't perceive it to "trying to wriggle out". Well, that's just my opinion. Then, its their discretion...

My status just changed to: "A decision has been made on this choice and is being processed. Processing involves checking by a senior member of staff, and occasionally verification of one or more details by your Department. Most decisions will be finalised and appear here within one or two working days (remember to allow for weekends!), however if we require clarification from the Department your status will remain unchanged for longer periods. No further information is available until all checks have been completed, and the decision will be posted here first."

I am a US applicant. I received my complete designation on December 2nd.

Anyone have insight into whether this is good/bad?

So far this has been an indication of acceptance.

If you have been accepted now it must also mean I will receive news very shortly, since I my app was completed on the 28th, 2 business days prior to yours...

I hope so. Has anyone received this message and then received a wait list or rejection?

I guess we are the tail-enders - competing to get any left over spaces.

I guess it might not be true. Some people here were accepted 10 weeks after completion, and mine 10 end this friday.

Remember, they say 8, but there has been a recess of 2 weeks during Christmas.

And if you go to the program availability part of the site you may notice some of the courses are now listed with limited availability. And that does not include the LL.M.

Somebody has already posted this today: "A decision has been made on this choice and is being processed. I'm afraid of a rejection because my app complete e-mail was received only on Dec 19!!! A friend of mine received offer today, the same message appeared on her tracker yesterday. But she received the complete e-mail on November 11...
