so does that mean the offer deadline is whenever YOU feel like it?
think i'm going to accept anyway, and wait to hear back from cambridge..
even if i were to get cambridge, the thoughts of studying in London and LSE might just persuade me (as they are now) to stay with LSE!

Thanks Japeon - I will submit my GSS application asap. While it has only been a couple of weeks, the wait for an answer is already too long!

I just received an unconditional offer from the LSE! Haven't filled in my GSS yet. Goodluck to all those who are waiting to hear back.. hopefully you will hear soon xx

Hey Angelnel - when did you file your application?
Posted Feb 10, 2009 16:19
Hey! My application went complete on the 17th of December. Considering the fact that the Admissions office was closed from the 19th Dec - 5th Jan, they took just a bit more than four weeks to get back to me. On the tracker it says that an offer letter was posted to me on the 6th of February. Hope that helps :)

no worries crimlawyer, there are still plenty of us out there waiting for results. My guess is that each specialisation is probably seperately considered by a penal and some penals are just taking longer than others to consider the applications...

Hi Crimlawyer, I am in the same boat. I am in my 12th week! I called them yesterday but was told that the file is with selector for some reason!

Crimlawyer - not myself. Similar to Crimlawyer's question - would be great if someone could let me know if any one here was admitted or has applied to the Corporate commerical or corporate securities specialisim?

Greetings,
I just checked my application status and am happy to report that I have been made an unconditional offer. Looks like the decision was already made and documents sent on 3 February. For the statistics: I applied on 10 December 2008.
The only irritating thing about the offer is that LSE seems to have misplaced all the original supporting documents (certified translations of transcripts etc.) and now wants me to resubmit them (meaning lots of additional running around and spending money).

has anyone any experience of not meeting LSE's requirements but having accepted the offer?
im considering rejecting it as i cant meet their condition.

Thanks all for your information. Let's see what's going to happen...

CJH,
Whats the condition? Dont reject it, write to them and try and explain why you cant meet the condition. Talk to Miss. Lucy Wright @ LSE. She is very helpful.

Does it mean that LSE expect a first for most candidates?
