i'm planning on going...just applied for residence and planning on studying Corporate and Securities Law.

What are you interested in studying CDP? I saw you applied to a couple of Canadian law schools...

Oh yeah. I am going to corporate law.
I also had applied for residence what were your choices?

I've been accepted onto the LLM from this fall but I am running it part-time as Im interning with 3 different law firms/international bodies from Sept-July so gonna try work and study at the same time.

In terms of residences, I applied to: 1) Grosvenor, 2) High Holborn, 3) Northumberland House... I also applied to Intercollegiate residences including International and Nutford House. Which ones have you applied to?

What specifically are you interested in studying within corporate law? I intend to focus on securities (courses like Regulation of Financial Markets, Financial Law, International Finance Law, Legal Risk in Financial Markets, Investment Funds), based on whatever is offered next year.

I'm going to be at LSE also, for the MSc in Human Rights. Thanks for posting your residence choices Medland, asides from Grosvenor I haven't been able to decide what to apply to. There are too many choices.

Is anyone looking for accommodation outside of the school residences? I'm having a lot of difficulties resigning myself to the possibility of living in student accommodation (again.) I'm 31 and I'm kind of tired of it, I guess. Are most of you looking into LSE-housing, or is anyone branching out and seeking a flat in town?

Im also planning to join the LSE in September. Glad to see that im not the only one having difficulties to going back to living like a student .. however im not planning to stay on campus - most probably a flat in town!

I am also going to LSE in September, and will specialise in International Business Law.

I am currently at Warwick Uni on the European Law Programme, and am originally from the island of Mauritius. I will be working in London at Allen and Overy after my LLM.
