I think it says somewhere that they would ideally like a response within six weeks, but that we won't lose the offer if it takes longer than that. I'm not 100% sure though!

Hi! Today I received offers from UCL and King's.

I applied to King's on 30th Nov and I have until april to respond.
To UCL I applied approx on 4-5 Nov and I have four weeks to respond.

Both are conditional offers as I have to provide evidence of english language before the start date.

So far I am consdering UCL but I am still waiting for LSE. For commercial law/law of contracts/corporate law which university would you recommend, UCL or LSE?

Best of luck to all of you!

Hi guys,
I want to ask whether King's college requires references this year. Because King's didn't require them last year.
Thank you.

It doesn't. If you want you can attach a letter of recommendation to the form, but it is not necessary.

Both are the same, it's just the 'prestige' which makes the difference. I'd personally go for LSE.

Depends on when you get the results. I'd personally make sure when they fill the spots. If they are filled in a short time-frame after I get my results, I'd apply now. Yet, if a sufficient time is left for QM to assess my app and make a decision after I get my results (i.e. let's say 2-6 weeks), I'd do the otherwise. Hope it helps. Make a call, takes 30 secs to ask. Good luck!

Hi everyone!

I have a quick question to ask. I intend to submit my application to UCL / KCL / LSE / QMUL at the end of January. To those who got the offers, what is the degree requirement? Must it be a high 2:1 to stand a chance of getting an offer? I only have a mid 2:1....

Just to let you guys know, Kings look at your entire grade average including 1st year, they rejected me on that basis, which is annoying as I had a high 2:1 that actually counted. Don't waste your money, they just tell you that they can't consider your application further

I believe you need to disregard 'winter break' with respect to the period 8 weeks.

Applied for the LSE LLM November 30. I received a rejection today.

Background: Canadian, 1:1 LLB from the University of London, BA and MA in political science from Canadian universities, 2 years Big 4 experience, 2 years global law firm experience. Strong academic references.

Not even waitlisted -- rejected. I'm a bit shell-shocked right now. Good luck to everybody else!
