I am interested in doing an LLM but I wanted to know your opinion first. I want to know if completing an LLM program for maritime law or international business law for example gives good job perspective working internationally or it do I will always have to return to my country ?
Which can be a path in law to make an international career ?

It can be tricky to transition to a new country after an LLM. Usually this requires taking a bar exam in the country where you want to work, and having good connections within the firms you're looking at.

In general, most international firms will want to recruit LLMs to work in the firms' offices in the candidates' home countries, at least at first. In essence, they'll see your expertise as more of a benefit back home.

You can ask the law schools about the success rates of LLMs whose goal it is to work internationally. Ask them to connect you with alumni who have successfully made this kind of transition.
