Hey guys. Just get to know about this forum. Can any one guide what does "awaiting approval from GAO" means?? Is it done or still there is any hurdle left to cross??

The approval from the GAO comes after both the Law Department and the Degree Committee approve your application. In theory, the GAO just verifies that your supporting documents meet the minimum requirements.

The approval from the GAO comes after both the Law Department and the Degree Committee approve your application. In theory, the GAO just verifies that your supporting documents meet the minimum requirements.

What if a candidate does not meet minimum academic requirements such as GPA etc and department still accepts the application? Will GAO refuse? Or will they just verify the checklist of required documents?

Hi everyone,
Just moved to GAO stage in the last few hours. For those who don't have an answer yet, don't lose hope. I was getting despondent too yesterday. But there is still plenty of time! Don't give up!

Still under review. Don't think I'll receive any answer today. Do those who moved to GAO stage also received an e-mail informing them of the decision? For my own sanity, I can't continue checking the online platform every hour. This is a frustrating process I must admit !

I haven't received any email and my status changed last Tuesday.
Same here. My status changed today but no email. I called GAO and the lady said that they ll be sending emails in next 5 working days
