Hey guys,
Due to the strikes during December, Cambridge moved the deadline back to the 10th of December for some people.
I emailed them on the 2nd of December notifying them some of my lectures were striking and therefore my references would not be uploaded in time, and I got an email back saying they have extended it for me till the 10th.
I'm not sure if this would have added to the delay, but might have played a part.

I thought this too at the time back in December, but because they never updated any info relating to decisions by 1st March I assume they’ll still be working to the same timeline.

That would be me. I received an email earlier this morning around 6:30pm London time. Not overly surprised - my application was not as polished as it should have been.
I would not be surprised if tomorrow is the day things start moving. Good luck to all those who are still waiting - if you're still under review then you're still alive at the very least.

I could, but don't think that it would be particularly instructive. You never know what they are looking for, or why they decided the way they did. It may be there are better candidates in my country, or that there was something in my application they didn't like. Either way, I don't think comparisons will be particularly helpful.
if you really want to know, I was in the top 10% of my year at Melbourne University, which is considered among the best law schools in my country. I have been working for five years, specialising predominantly in commercial law. Cambridge probably wasn't the right university for me - given its strength in international law, I suspect my interests weren't exactly what it was looking for.
