KCL LLM applicants 2022/23

Sforllm

Hi, I applied to KCL on 18th February. So it's been more than 11 weeks for me. Hope this helps1f642

Hello, I have heard from KCL, they stated that my application has been considered strong enough and put on hold. Do you guys know anything about the waitlist process of KCL (i.e. possible decision date, waitlist chances etc)?
Thanks

Hey Congratulations on hearing back from them. Could you kindly tell us the date you applied at? because some of us have been waiting to hear back since more than 8 weeks now.

Hi. Me neither I applied 1st week of April and nothing yet. However, today I've noticed that there was an update in my documents. There were some comments made such as "document is OK"... etc. By the way, have you had a chance to book any accommodation? If yes, could you tell me where did u book?

Hello,

Just for reference, I applied to International Tax Law LLM pathway on 30/04/2022, my application was updated on 24/05/2022 about 5 PM UK time, got rejected earlier today about 5 PM UK time because: "the reason for this was: Unfortunately, the academic qualifications you have achieved do not meet the entry requirements for this programme therefore we are unable to consider your application any further."

My GPA is 8.56/12 from a Canadian school for anyone who might be interested.

Best of luck for those who are still waiting!

Hello everyone, I have applied for the LLM programme at KCL on the 4th of April. However, received no response yet. Could the offer holders mention their deadline related to the deposits/conditions etc., so that we might guess the probable date for us to get any response? :) Thanks!

Hello guys, I received offers to study LLM at Queen Mary and Kings. I want to specialise in IP law. I do not know what to chose. I know Kings is a better university, but QMUL seems to be one of the best for IP law. What do you think.

I have a question about the 65% requirement from Kings. Do they count all of my years of study even if my first year grades are not reflected in my final grade as my current university only counts grades from second and third year. It would help me a lot if Kings did not count the first year as my grades from that year lower my average a lot.

Same doubt here! Let me know what you decide.

Just got a message from Kings Apply - my application has been assessed and has been considered strong enough to be placed on hold whilst they assess other applicants. So, I guess I’m currently on the waiting list until further notice.

Hello, I have recently received the same message. Since I have applied considerably late, it is okay. However, I was wondering whether you have been issued with an offer following this message. Thanks in advance!

Hi there. I've received this message from King's Admissions Team. I suppose I've also been put on hold. "Please accept our apologies for the delay in providing you with a decision on your application.
As we have a limited number of places on the programme, we want to ensure that we have enough spaces available for eligible applicants and will therefore be monitoring the number of offers we make.  We will be placing applications we deem strong enough for the programme on hold, while we consider the number of places remaining.
If you are made an offer, you will be able to view all the relevant details on your King’s Apply account.  If you do not wish to be placed on hold for the programme please can you respond to this message at your earliest convenience. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any questions or concerns you may have and we thank you for your continued patience."  I am wondering for how long I will be put on hold...

Hi there!

I have recently received the same message from KCL, stating that my application was considered strongh and hence put on hold due to limitation of remaining places in the programme. I was wondering the result of your application after the receipt of such a notification. Thanks in advance!

Hey Congratulations on hearing back from them. Could you kindly tell us the date you applied at? because some of us have been waiting to hear back since more than 8 weeks now.

Hello guys,I might be going to King's next year to study LLM course. Does anyone know how long do I need to be physically in London for that course? It says that it ends in September but I suppose the actual teaching ends earlier. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks.

Hi, so the thing is that the course duration is from September end to next year June end. In which you will be completing your course work (like exams and stuff) later from July to August end or the beginning of September you will have time to complete your research work (Dissertation). During this time classes will not be conducted as it gets over by June itself.
